A Non-Denominational Introduction To The Teachings of the Buddha
While this is not a religiously slanted blog, and is pretty much dogma free, it wouldn’t exist without Buddhist scripture. Most notably, the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path. These writings are essential, and detail much of the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness is but one of eight “rights” that form a comprehensive toolset to end suffering.

Noble Eightfold Path
This post is the first in a series that will detail the Noble Eightfold path. There are some good resources online already that I will point to, but hey, this is my blog, so I’m giving it a go as well. The more information and perspective people can find, the more people can be helped and served, so here goes.
The Noble Eightfold Path
The Noble Eightfold Path is a series of behaviors that exist in a threefold division, defined as:
Wisdom
- Right View
- Right Intention
Ethical Conduct
- Right Speech
- Right Action
- Right Livelihood
Concentration
- Right Effort
- Right Mindfulness
- Right Concentration
